But the Pokemon cartoon got annoying just shortly after it began. Too repetitive, I guess. The newest versions of Pokemon (Anything released after "Crystal") were nothing but money-making too.

Mewtwo, Lugia and Ho-Oh can all be caught with an Ultra Ball, just like the 3 legendary dogs and the 3 legendary birds.
And trust me... It's fun having lots of hard work to catch all the rare legendary ones using only Ultra Balls and then wasting your Master Ball on a piece of shit like Caterpie. xD
Mewtwo, Lugia and Ho-Oh can all be caught with an Ultra Ball, just like the 3 legendary dogs and the 3 legendary birds.

Well, sometimes when playing the old versions you need more than that on Articuno, Zapdos or Moltres and you end up switching your Gameboy off and then back on just to try again, and again, and again... And if you spend your Master Ball with one of them, you won't have it for the others, and neither for Mewtwo.
Same about the legendary dogs from G/S/C, except you can't turn off and on your Gameboy, as they show up randomly.
It's okay spending your Master Ball on Lugia, as Lugia is really hard to catch, of course... But it's possible to catch it using the Ultra Ball. Now you'll have some hard work to catch the legendary dogs... I killed Raikou and had to turn my GBA off quickly so many times last time I played Crystal.
