Good world news for a change

Another success for Bush (and Putin)!!! This is big, because it could have gotten ugly. I think the way to world peace starts with our two countries working together. Always have.

U.S. President George W. Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed Thursday to cooperate on missile-defense systems, cooling tensions between the two leaders at the G8 summit in Germany.

"We have an understanding about common threats, but we have differences. The difference is the ways and means in which we can overcome these threats," Putin said after meeting with Bush.

Just when the world needs to move forward to find solutions for threatening global issues these two dumb fucks take us back to the 1961.

I wonder who actually made them realize how fuckin' retarded they are, but as you mentioned that's some good news indeed.

Bush lives in the past, with that I agree completely. Putin was just hoping that a renewed arms-race might provide a new impulse for the Russian economy, because it's on the floor panting, and being run by the mafia.

I thought that Gorbachev played a very key role is saying what needed to be said to set the ball in motion. I also think it was great to see Putin take a hard stand as well. It shows true leadership, these two take a lot of heat.
