Hello everybody,i hope it hasn't been posted before : what do you think about roger using and playing drum machine in the early 80's ?
I hate electronic drum kits!

So you don't like how it sounds in the miltton keynes concert
I like for example how it sounds in the solo during Back Chat... but for the rest of the show I prefer the old rototoms.

What I don´t like at all, is the abuse of electronic drums in the Works Tour. Sounds like a bad imitation of Depeche Mode.

Queen rocks!
I really dislike the AOBTD version from some of '85 gigs. thoose el drumkits (all over the song...) are horrible!

roger is such a great performer and el dkt are the death of a good drummer for me

Indeed, I think there's nothing worse than AOBTD during The Works tour. The drums are really terrible.

And the version of radio ga ga from '84/85 ?
Was he triggering the simmonds kit live then because I don't remember him playing it?

What was the works tour like then, was it worse of due to the drums, you know, overall was there many problems or what? I might be getting a live show of from the Works Tour from my mate and I'm interested to know more about it...

A Kind of Magic
I also don't like the hammer to fall version, when he used the electronic pads for the beat at the beginning. On the magic tour and also now it sounds larger and more powerful with just playing it on the snare!!!
