I know this is off topic, but I can't see how some people here trust others so much as to put their first and last name in plain view of anyone and everyone in the forum and on the internet. Queen's first album has never been one of my favorites. Don't get me wrong, it's got some awesome songs, but you have to admit that Queen's next 6 albums (Queen II-Jazz) were arguably the best 6 of their career, and I'm afraid to say that their debut doesn't belong in that supreme group. To me, it just sounds like Queen was a bit afraid to try anything risky on this album (which is understandable) because they didn't really know how the world would react yet. Nonetheless I'd have to say it's pretty good for a debut album. But, like I said, it's definitely got some pretty good ones, Keep Yourself Alive, Great King Rat, and My Fairy King among a few others. I'd have to say that My Fairy King is my favorite song on the album, although I know there are quite a few who disagree. I've always found it difficult to describe what I like about songs, but I guess this one is mainly because it's a really awesome melody and the harmony is possibly the best of any on the album.

'Mad the Swine' was previously unreleased until the Hollywood Records release of 'Queen' in 1991. I believe it was recorded in 1972 and composed by our very own Freddie Mercury.
Rumor has it Freddie Mercury didn't feel the song to be adequate enough for the 'Queen' album, which is sad actually. If it were to be on the album I think it would have come right after 'Great King Rat,' remember that drum roll? That was supposed to lead into 'Mad the Swine.'[/QUOTE]

Queen is my favourite album mainly because I'm sad and like older music like The Beatles and Kinks. My Fairy King and Modern Time Rock and Roll are my fav tracks dunno why apart from I like nearly all of Roger's work for Queen. I hate Jesus though that song drives me mad!

Check to make sure that it's the correct re-release version. On the back of the package it should say something like "1973 & 1991 Hollywood Records, Inc."
However, it just came to me that I had purchased The Miracle once before and it contained no Scandal remix. I purchased an updated version of the album and found the missing track.
What I'm getting at is that your 'Queen' release might be an older re-release version.
