The late great Warren Zevon is fantastic.  He gets heavy rotation in my world periodically too.  If you haven't seen the YouTube clips of his many David Letterman appearances over the years they're worth checking out both for the music and for his sharp intelligence and dry wit.  His ex wife wrote a great book about him after his death (at his request).  In honour of you making me think about him this morning, I changed my signature for the day. :)
