Time to identify what DVDs are out there and from what source?

It seems to me that maybe it's about time we started posting screengrabs of the concerts we have and saying where they were sourced from if it's known - for example, on the "I'd pay $1000 for..." thread, the 4th page says that the better Buenos Airies is sourced from SVCD.

Personnaly I haven't a clue what's out there these days as DVD creation has become something most people can do now and as such there may be better quality DVDs of concerts I already have, but I don't know and I don't really want to start downloading 4gb over 2 weeks just to find out a DVD is the same disc that I do have!

So, as well as a screengrab of the concert itself, can people start posting a screengrab of the DVD menu - that way it makes it much easier to identify whether you already possess that particular DVD or whether it's different and maybe better than the one you have?

For example, I have two copies of Sao Paulo: One in PAL that I've had for nearly 6 years with a single static menu that has a picture background and the song titles highlight in a grey box - obviously made using a PC. The picture quality is great, but the sound is flat.
My other copy is NTSC and has a completely different menu, no nice fade ins and outs and while the picture is terrible, the sound is amazing!

When I get home I'll dig them out and post a few screengrabs of the menus, and then maybe you folks who are going on about a better quality buenos aires can tell me and everyone else on here which one to go for!

Everyone get the idea?
It would be great if we could all post menu screen grabs on this thread inorder to identify how many different versions there are of a concert and say which is the best!

I FULLY agree with you.
All we need is a website which allows you to upload pictures and a reasonable amount of people who want to share with others some screenshots.
Shouldn't be a problem. Maybe I can start this kind of website ?

Give me a couple more weeks, and I'll be announcing the arrival of a brand new Queen Live website. I'll tell you all about it then!

I will have screenshots of every Queen Live DVD I know of, and I'll welcome everyone to contribute to it.

Talking of Queen Traders. The activity on the site is so sparse that I wonder if its even worth continuing with.

Queentraders.com was an absolutely great idea, but the true problem is the activity, I remember checking it several times a day, when it was new, but now I check it once a month and I rarely find some new posts there :(

Sir GH - OK, if you're faster, you spare my time :)

YourValentine - great start.

Yeah it only gets around 10 visitors a day.

Considering that the domain name needs to be renewed I really don't know if it is worth renewing again.

It lost the momentum when the website was out of order.
