I'm going to take a brief moment to say that I have in fact purchased The A-Z of Queen Volume I.
With all honesty I was impressed with the album art and also feel that this might just attract all those Americans who are unaware or neglect Queen. The track listing for the CD is colorful and displays the band's unique variety and showmanship. Furthermore, the DVD gives those new listeners a beautiful way of getting to know the band's character. I was also pleased to find that this "Wal-Mart Exclusive" includes two free ringtones and even a cellphone wallpaper.
I suppose I've changed my mind about the band's overdose in compilations. It does seem right, especially with this one, that Queen should do everything in its power to maintain some sort of staying power so that their music never diminishes in the eye of the public. The only thing I wish Queen would do in the future is re-release all their albums in a more stylish and unpredictable way. It's hard to explain, but I simply want a 'collector's edition.' Something that's more concrete and official, if that makes any sense.
Anyway, I recommend buying this new Queen compilation, it's worth it.

Anyone figure out why the songs are for the most part in alphebetical order except a two or three of them?
if I had the money to spend on a such a thing right now, I'd buy it just to get Innuendo on DVD......and btw now that Walmarts site is working again...........the artwork is pretty damn cool

Maybe there's going to be an A-Z series that includes other artists as well(?). Since this is Volume 1 and it only gets to "I" I'm wondering how many more volumes there will be?!?
And yeah the tracklisting gives a good cross-section of their different musical styles...good dose of hard rock mixed with the campier stuff.

I consider myself a completist to an extent, but only insofar as I'll buy any previously unreleased content - repackaging and slight tracklist variations arent worth my time or money, or yours, so leave well alone and wait for Montreal.

I have "Queen Greatest Karaoke Flix (Featuring The Original Queen Hit Recordings." It has 35 songs on it, plus the karaoke subtitles, of course. It's the best ever!

Montreal hasn't been released with a good audio mix before...it's not something we've bought before.

The audio before was mixed by MobileVision which had some really strange moments. When is Montreal coming out by the way? I can't find the info...I want this DVD NOW!
