i'm sorry to hear that :( I had an ovarian cyst the day before Easter and I had to go to the emergency room and didn't leave until 5 am Easter morning ( it sucked). Anyway, i had pain like you, had to get a CT scan, and after i had to go to the obgyn to make sure everything was okay. I hope you're doing well and i'm sorry to hear it happened on Friday the 13th :(
you will remember, when this is blown over, and everything's all by the way...
I didn't even know yesterday was Friday the 13th! D:

What's an ovarian cyst? :S
Back whenever
A cyst is a fluid-filled sac, and can be located anywhere in the body. On the ovary, different types of cysts can form. The most common type of ovarian cyst is called a functional cyst, which often forms during the normal menstrual cycle. Each month, a woman's ovaries grow tiny cysts that hold the eggs. When an egg is mature, the sac breaks open to release the egg, so it can travel through the fallopian tube for fertilization. Then the sac dissolves. In one type of functional cyst, called a follicular cyst, the sac doesn't break open to release the egg and may continue to grow. This type of cyst usually disappears within one to three months. A corpus luteum cyst, another type of functional cyst, forms if the sac doesn’t dissolve. Instead, the sac seals off after the egg is released. Fluid then builds up inside of it. This type of cyst usually goes away on its own after a few weeks. However, it can grow to almost four inches and may bleed or twist the ovary and cause pain. Clomid or Serophene, which are drugs used to induce ovulation, can raise the risk of getting this type of cyst
I love you,Beata!
Wow, really sorry to hear that. I've never experienced it, but I really do hope you're doing better. Feel better.

I'm being tested for that at the moment...

Let me know how you get on because I don't know what to expect and half the time I have no idea what my doctor is saying.
I've had an ultrasound, a MRI scan, heaps and heaps of blood tests and a spit-in-a-cup-at-midnight test, and should hopefully get a result at the start of August.

But enough about me, good luck and keep positive :)

that sucks :-/ but be lucky that you are young and resiliant, and cysts are very common. take care of yourself. im lucky so far i havent had anything like that, but its good you listened to your body instead of putting it off and cause more trouble on yourself (which is something i would do)! i think youll be ok, and same goes for anyone else with this :) keep a good positive mind, and i think youll be ok. again, take care!
why pay the visit when the visit is free? "this shitty guitar wont play what i want! it only knows three chords!"

Lesson number one - never leave a doctors surgery without knowing what they have just said to you. If you are not sure, then ask. Its what they are paid to be there for as well. Good luck to you as well as the topic starter :)

Hope that it's a woman. Wait, is it a female gynecologist?
