Happy B-day to a legendary human whose life is far bigger than pretty much anyone alive today, in my opinion.
I think of Brian's mark on humanity as:
1. Inventor of the greatest musical instrument in human history: The Red Special guitar, matched with Treble Booster and Vox Ac30 Amp, and assisted by bandmate John Deacon's invention - The Deaky Amp. No musical instrument is close in my thinking.
2. The greatest guitarist of all-time. His solos are above all else, he is a riff master, and he has written many of the greatest guitar compositions with good variation, but his skill isn't the greatest necessarily, but is with certainty due to his Red Special sound. His peak invention for me is the 3-oeat harmonies of the Brighton Rock solo.
3. A legendary song writer with the world's greatest band ever, Queen.
4. A brilliant Astronomer, Dr. Brian Harold May who has written with the legendary Patrick Moore and another on the book Bang!
5. A British Empire decorated life which earned him his ultimate moment of playing God Save The Queen on the roof of Buckinham Palace to kick off the Queen's 80th B-Day party.
And so much more beyond that. And still to come....
A) Brian's technical book on the Red Special's creation and evolution.
B) Brian will Produce his hit play "We Will Rock You" one day to Broadway I'd guess.
C) And next year Brian and Roger and Paul will take over the world.
