You've yet to have your finest hour

Same song but a different line.
"I'd sit alone and watch your light, my only friend through teenage nights, and everything I had to know, I heard it on my radio".
Back in the early 70's when I first got seriously into music I took my battery powered radio everyhwhere. I even went to bed at night the radio under the covers listening to late n ight radio. Back then it was all T.Rex for me altho Iloved nearly all glam rock music. Then in 1973 a mate at school told me he had heard a great new band on the John peel show and said they were on again the following night. I tuned in and heard Liar, a song by a new group called Queen. I was hooked from that point on and the rest is rock n roll history.
Radio is still king.

"For my life's still ahead, pity me"
"I feel like a banana tree."
Hehe. It was always strangely clever to me.

now listen all you people, put out the good and keep the bad, dont believe all you read in the Bible.
My soul is painted like the wings on butterflies...fairytails of yesterday grow but never die...
we have no life....we're not even sleeping....
"I'll take you to the Seven Seas Of Rhye"
IMO, this is the song that created Power Metal.

Oh and...
"So honey, spread your wings and fly away..."
And let's not forget "White Queen"-
"My goddess hear my darkest fear, I speak too late..."

"The same situation just cuts like a knife...when you're young, and you're poor, and you're crazy."
What the hell we're fighting for?
Just surrender and it wont hurt at all!
So sad it ends
as it began
I can spend an hour listening those last lines. They're something so beautiful that I don't have words for it!

When I hear that rock and roll
It gets down to my soul
When it's real rock and roll, oh rock and roll
It gets down to my soul
When it's real rock and roll, oh rock and roll
The earth will shake, in two will break and death all around will be your dowry
Too much love will kill you, every time
