Very good concert. I'm not downing, as I have it already, but I can HIGHLY recommend it to all those who don't have it yet: it's one of the best live recordings ever.

Thanks Ginger! Unfortunately my main computer is all packed away and can't really get any more torrent action, but once I've finished my move, I'll get on this one quick!

Yep, I'll second that. In fact, this is the kind of recording I'd recommend to people who weren't even Queen fans, to simply hear a great band at their absolute peak.

I wonder why this concert isn't released as dvd. Queen at their best. Listen to that Crazy Little Thing jam with the audience. Queen were so playful in this era. The 86 tours are very stiff compared to 79. Its so lovely to listen to! Release it please :)
Basically blind em and deaf em in the first 10 minutes, and while they are recovering from that put in the less good songs

I hope they release this. A dvd with on disc 1 paris'79(multitrack) and on disc 2 hammy'79 cleaned up as good as possible would be fantastic. We'll see.

By the way: there are several crazy tour recordings in Queen's archive!! That is one of the interesting things the Queen Live book had to offer. If there was only more info about these shows!!and all the other shows and correct setlists...
Still , I hope that the manchester show of which there is a review in the book , is as good as the journalist writes. Greg knows the answer because there is a recording in the archive. I hope such a show will one day see the light of day!

My ultimate dream is a compilation with an early show(74-76), a NOTW show(north america), a better live killerscompilation from the european tour'79 and a crazy tour show. Man , that would be awesome:-)

The ADATR tour from europe is essential Queen live aswell. From that tour they should release Earl's court on dvd:-)

If these things happen within the next 25 years I will have a happy midlife crisis:-)

Well at know QP want to release on DVD old stupid stuff called Montreal shows from '81. Even not complete on video for that I know. For me it's a rip off and made for money - yes, for money (wow a picture and sound). I still will prefer old good stuff from Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo from that year even if picture in's so so so clear, super and sound isn't in dts. I don't understand Brian's and others from QP decision why they don't release stuff fom '70 - "multitrack tape lost" , "we don't have a time to find this", "bad quality / sound", "not to much cameras / angles" . F...ck :(
So why other rock band made some good dvds with own old concert even with no superior quality ? Answer - for sure they made this mostly for fans, yes but also for anyone who want see old good times, hear good old music, share with this treasures , for real passions.

Sorry for my language but I'm quite desperate when I hear that other concert from '80 will be soon released and "real Queen' is still in QP vaults :(

Yup. It's what I give people who aren't familiar with Queen, but like classic rock :P
