Well, today when i was coming home from my cousin's house who lives in pinecrest it was raining so hard that it looked more like a hurricane than a little rain.
Hello QL4L, in North Miami we didn't get that much rain, just alot of cloud cover.
yeah this morning it was really cloudy but then it got better and like at 3:00 PM it got cloudy again and it started to rain really hard specially in the zones of Pinecrest, South miami, and coral gate. It was horrible, especially when we were driving home, there was alot of shit eaters.

Everyone always has horror stories of their wisdom teeth removal and love to tell them to scare the crap out of people! ;-) So I like to tell my story: I got them out at 21. I had absolutely no trouble. No swelling, no nothing. I didn't even fill my prescription for pain medication. And I went out to dinner with my husband (then boyfriend) that same evening. My son got his out last year at 19. He also came through with flying colors, came home and slept a couple of hours, didn't bother filling his pain meds, and was back to work within two days.

Hope your experience is as easy as mine (and my son's!) were! Good luck! :-)

Thank you so much, Janet!

I really hope mine's that easy too. :P

This was sorta last minute. I knew I had my consultation today, but from friends I've heard that it usually takes weeks after the consultation before the surgery actually takes place.

Well, I want mine out before school starts...and today the receptionist tells my mum: "Well, we have a cancellation tomorrow. You can have that at 8 tomorrow morning."

Mum: "Perfect, we'll take it!"

Me: "ughhh THANKS."

But it's really good at least that I can get it over with quick.

Thanks again, that makes me feel better after hearing someone's dry socket story...

And I've made plans for this week. I'm really hoping I won't have to cancel them. This is the first week since a while that I actually have quite a few days booked with plans including 2 parties.

Just a brief follow up then I leave this thread...

Janet + Miami Vice...

The surgery went smooth! My mouth and jaws hurt like hell but damn, I could not have asked for it to go better.

I even told my mum when it was over that, "THAT WAS FUN!"

I might've been completely out of it, but I think that should sum up how great my oral surgeon was. :P

Haha, trust me I won't.. It took me 30 minutes just to have lunch which was only a measley Boost shake. :P
