I am officially OWNED!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I got married last Friday.

I'm very happy and proud to tell you that I have a very loving and low maintenance significant other who didn't have any major issues having a simple ceremony at City Hall in Manhattan. So I'm very happy that I didn't have to put up with one of those scary bridezillas you see on reality TV.

I wore a pair of Converse sneakers (new, I'm not that trashy), and she wore a pair of sandals and a summer dress. It was all very simple and quick. We showed our documents and we were told that we couldn't get married without a witness. A nice young lady who came as a witness for her brother was willing to wait and serve as a witness for us. Then we were sent to this room to wait in line, and it was sort of like getting married by a drive-thru. Then when your turn comes, you're told to come inside the chapel and the judge declares you marries, and it just takes a few minutes.

All in all, I'm very happy with how all of this turned out.

LOL! Kids are out of the question for now. Don't get me wrong, we love kids but raising one is a heck of a job. It seems like not everybody who wants to have kids is qualified to be a parent. Personally we're just not mature and wise enough at the moment to raise a kid properly.

We're just happy enough to have a niece and take care of her. Hopefully someday we can own a house and have some pets. We love dogs, and I guess that will be a good way for us to feel like parents.

We might change about having kids after a while, but for now pets are our way to go.
