"Great" cover by the way, any QZ cover designer could do that better..anyway, there's a lot of bitchin' about this release! Why not seeing it as an upgrade, I bet this is the best version we ever get of this concert. Shurely they will be an 70's release someday, judging by the activity of GB and QP to get hold of vintage footage...

My God though... what the heck are they doing with their covers? Brian is a photographer, at the very least, he should have some veto power over these atrotious current releases.

Didn't knew that people with DOWN SYNDROM (47 chromo's Yep that means 2* 23 + 1 X or Y) could win a queen cover contest!
I must say that would prefer a packing with a photo shoot during the montreal gig when Love of my life was played...many open mounths ....the same reaction i had when i was the cover...
I would hire Jean LeJeune (i hope that's correct) to be the Sleeve and packaging designer. :) Awesome ass shit! :)

We´ve never assumed that, we just like to bitch about you guys ; )
But seriouslly, there are at least 4 guys (Jim included) that can have a say about the covers, i think! What we are assuming is that those 4 guys like the covers as they are!
Wich is strange, because on a freddie Bio (written by one of his assistants) there´s a story about the cover of Hot Space (?) where several covers were sent to the four of them for the OK. And he said that it was time consuming only for the letter Q (from Queen).
So now, i think that that issue it´s not a problem anymore! At least they could put some "art" in the fonts to write the name Queen. That looks like a word document or something.

But when you have the time could you update your shared list about live recordings with what is audio and what is video? you don´t have to write it all again, you only have to update your first post.

Yeah i know where you're coming from, the list wasn't very clear at all was it.If he could list the audio and video separate.
Richard Gray is the Art Director at QP, at least according to the sleeve notes of releases from "A Kind Of Magic" onward.
I agree with the general sentiment that the sleeve is pretty bland, but it's not as terrible as it could be. Cases in point...
