Fake music: Making a song with a smaple of a different song/using complete choruses of a song/covers of a song.
yup, we write everything ourselves
everything eh? even to melody to Final Countdown?
do you have hearing problems? yes its similiar to that melody but can you honestly say that its the exact same melody? we didnt even think of europe when writing that song, it just turned out the way it did.

Thats just ONE of our songs, we have many, have you even heard the other 3 there?

get back to me when you are smarter

If that's the case, then Valensia never stole anything from Queen. If your song is not a rip-off, then Valensia's songs aren't rip-offs either.

Plus you say that your music is real and original... how original can be something that sounds so much like a wolrd-wide hit from 20 years ago?

its a big difference, real music is music like our band, fake music is the crap you see on mtv and hear on radio these days.
Ah, cause I thought fake music consisted of songs containing a drum machine, keyboard bass, repetitive simple guitar work, keyboard work that is pretty simple, hallmark card lyrics, vocals that sound the same from song to song, and zero real emotion throughout. Sound familiar?
you are a stupid fool so shut up. I dont need idiots telling me things about music
Smitty got you there. You couldn't come up with a proper comeback. He's right and you know it. You are just an incredibly stubborn and ignorant ass who won't ever in his life admit he's wrong about anything. Even though you know that you are not the second best band in the entire world, you still go around and tell yourself that you are even when you know that you suck. Just admit it and give your constantlty denying brain a rest.

Yet, the meaning of doing Phantom of the Opera is that he wanted to do a similar song, since there's so much crappy music and rip-offs of that very crap and too little of songs like bo rhap. Not that he should do more songs like that, but it was a thing to upset idiots and stuff.

You're talking shit. What is and what isn't "Real Music" all comes down to a matter of personal taste. I, for example, like to think that real music is the kind where you can hear the actually music input of the musicians, music where the simple playing of their intrument brings out raw emotion in you, just by hearing what they are playing. whether it be from a musical instrument or a voice.
the way Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd or any song sung by Eva Cassidy gives me goosebumps.
I listen Queen Journey or Survivor (at the moment) when i'm in a good mood and the make me feel motivated, like i could do anything. THAT to me is real music. but its essentially an indivdual thing. Some people get the same effect for techno.
just thought I'd point out that Treasure Moment's music just inspires me to turn the volume right down... or better still, change songs!
well, you just mentioned pink floyd which isnt a new band really is it? Im just saying that the new popular mainstream bands totally suck and cant write good songs.

They have no imagination, emotion or anything. Its predictable emotionless garbage.
Actually, the dude you replied to contradicted him self. as the cock head said after he said your talking shit, "What i like to think that real music is the kind where you can hear the actually music input of the musicians, music where the simple playing of their intrument brings out raw emotion in you"...... aarrr you dont really hear that on the radio,,,so Treasure Moment, I stand by what you saif, and inmydefence, fucking pull you head in, you just repeated what Treasure Moment said after you called him full of shit, you just said it in your dribble manner.
Nope. Firstly, WHY are you calling me names? "cock head"? are you 12?
Secondly, I didn't contradict myself at all. TM said "real music is music like our band, fake music is the crap you see on mtv and hear on radio these days" as if its some kind of FACT. I pointed out that what is and isn't "REAL" is just a matter of opinion. And whether or not there is music that effects you this way on the radio depends on the person listening to it. Some people get goosebumps listening to Keane. Some people think Lily Allen's lyrics are a work of genius. i personally think they're shit. Doesn't necessarily make em fake. the only question is whether you happen to like it or not.
I recall "trouble" by coldplay giving me goosebumps. though i have to admit everything they did afterward i found dull!
Lene Marlin is still making music, and i find her voice incredible to listen to.

my point was, Who the fuck is Atheist or Treasure moment to tell people what is and isn't real music!

You said it was the BEST SONG EVER. How can a song that sounds so much like another song from 20 years ago... millions of songs that came after that one, be the best song ever?

It makes no sense. Let's give the credit to Mr. Joey Tempest for having written The Final Countdown, instead of giving it to you for making a song out of it.

You guys don't really sound like Queen. The piano arrangements is as close as you get to it, the rest doesn't sound Queen-esque nor Queen influenced at all.

Then, to be the best band on earth, second to Queen... you should, at least, be original.

With sounds like that one, you're not being original... therefore, not being the best band second to Queen.

On the other hand, you claim to sound like Queen... you're struggling to sound like them. So if you did sound like Queen, what's the point?

"The second best band on Earth, sounds exactly like the best one". That doesn't make sense, realy.

We should give the place to another band whose music sounds like nothing we've heard before, plus great melodies, amazing performances and clever arrangements. There're quite a few, deserving the first places.

You're not among them.

ALTIGHT ALRIGHT, shit, dont stress. Yeah, Im 12!!! Just as you are for calling some one full of shit when we all have rights to out own opionion. I think to a degree your splitting hairs. You mentioned artists putting in the own efforts. I dont see Lilyl doing that. Shes just getting pissed all the time and causing dramas. Real music usually has susbatance. Depth, a feel to it. not some sound that will be a flavout of the week, month, ect ect............. If you want want to rephrase the question "what is real music"...

the piano and harmonies are much in the queen style but then we add other things as metal influence into it so its different. If you dont like it fine but we are not changing anything.
