That's one of the best scenes ever...

"Beauty is but skin deep my pointy friend, yes, my face is hideous to behold, but when I dance, oh how my beauty shines forth, and lights up the jungle!"

Heh.

What is this song all about?
Cant figure any lyrics out
How do the words to it go?
I wish you'd tell me, I don't know
Don't know, don't know, don't know, oh no
Don't know, don't know, don't know...

I'd like to know what kind of TV the Brits watch after seeing this.

Can't be much worse than German television my parents watch. ;P Only British station I get is BBC America, and I watched the premiere of "Hotel Babylon" last night. XDDDDD

Alright, I'm done hijacking.
Back whenever
I never listen to lyrics anyway. I haven't a clue what the singers are banging on about in a lot of my favourite songs.

Lyrics are secondary. Music is about music. If you think otherwise, read poetry.
Gullibility and credulity are considered undesirable qualities in every department of human life -- except religion.
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Breed - Nirvana...

Music and poetry go hand in hand, which is why Richey James Edwards was such a crucial quarter to the early Manic Street Preachers stuff.

I keep having to check up on the lyrics of 'Motorcycle Emptiness' speaking of the Manics, and I thought originally that JDB was singing 'I'm running on lonliness/Motorcycle emptiness'

Oh and the Rolling Stones 'Gimme Shelter' it's a shame as the two songs have such good lyrics. But then again most people understand the songs, it's really just me.

Ah! a fellow Manics fan?? i love the early stuff. its a real shame RJE disappeared because I havent enjoyed anything the Manics have done since "masses against the classes"
I had absolutely no idea what Montserrat was singing about in "Barcelona"... In fact, I had my own set of alternative lyrics until I actually Googled the words. xD

[/QUOTE]Yeah, I keep saying if Richey was still here he could've thought up a better second verse for their new 'Autumnsong' which other than that I do really like!
