My prize posession is the ticket stub from the 1980 North America Bites The Dust Tour - I saw Queen in Ames, Iowa, U.S.A. along with the program and a ton of memories. The second would have to be watching my son, who is 13, enjoy his first concert by watching Queen + Paul this past spring. We also got to see and hear most of the sound check as well...it was totally awesome!

ahhh...now I remember why I stopped posting here. We can never have a straight forward discussion without someone saying something really stupid.
I was just trying to make you laugh.
Comments like that don't make people laugh, especially when they are about someone close to their hearts like Freddie. If someone thinks it's funny then fine, but it's a bit rude when you aren't thinking of people that it might offend. I think it was a vile, nasty, rude comment.

I live in Sacramento! I've never heard of that shop. Do you recall exactly where it was?

Ready Freddie?
My Prague 2005 ticket (ugliest ticket ever) signed by Brian May.

My Q+PR tourbook signed by the whole band, except for Paul. Brian's signature has my thumb's print on top of it. Roger's signature is simply huge and beautiful.

My Made In Heaven CD from Mexico with the original version of Let Me Live. Just for the sheer shocking surprise of listening to it for the first time and noticing the difference!

Return of the Champions and Live at the Bowl triple vinyls. They look very nice. I like them a lot.

Wiley
Ehr... My tour/concert stuff (tshirts, programmes, jackets, crew jackets etc etc) and The Complete Works (Signed x4) to name something.
[QUOTENAME]Freddie's #1 Fan Forever wrote: [/QUOTENAME]My letter from Freddie's mother. By the way, she writes a lot of people back, so try it!
Wow, thats intersesting? How do you write to her?

And in answer to the question, my most prized posestion in Queen related items would be my Queen shirt, the Peter Freestone book I got after I saw A Kind of Magic, but probably it would be the Freddie Mercury Collection. My favorite collection EVER.

M.H
A Kind of Magic
Hmmm, not sure which wins...close between the concert ticket stub from knebworth 86, and the towel Brian may threw me at the San Jose concert last year. The towel doesnt say brian may or anything but it was still really cool.

I have to agree. We finally have a good topic and of course we need to get the stupid ass comments.

Oh my, it's still open!!!! The Beat is located on the corner of J St. & 17th St., across from Hamburger Mary's and Office Max.

Go today. Go right now. It was one of the coolest record stores in the 80s/90s... and I have been to hundreds. Better than Amoeba, Tower, and those little ones in Berkeley.

I have this too, in my stack of misc. stuff. Is this worth something, because I have yet to play it. Have 2 of the breakthru ones (1 with 4 tracks, 1 with just 1), again... those came from The Beat in CA. Those I got for .99 cents each!!
[QUOTENAME]Micrówave wrote: [/QUOTENAME]It was a bit crude, but I got a chuckle.

C'mon Dave, what's your prized possession? I figure you'd have a good item in there.
Well, I'd say it would have to be my Innuendo signed litho
