1. He created the Deacy Amp which gave Brian his most beautiful sound arguably.

2. He was their best rhythm guitar player.

3. He or Freddie wrote the best lyrics of the band.

4. He created several of the greatest bass lines ever!

5. His songs were consistantly high quality to me.

6. Though it's not anywhere near to my favoirte tune, he did write "Another One Bites The Dust" which was their biggest hit ever in the USA.

7. His style though more commercial and common, it gave Queen yet more versatility in their catalogue.


And god knows what else he has meant to Queen. Happy B-Day Mr. Deacon... You are one of the four who comprise music's greatest act in human history.

I just remembered this (Sorry, I don't keep track of dates and such goodly anymore) but Deak's birthday was also the same day that I became a queen fan (Except this was two years ago now...)
