Gettin Married!

Hi All, yes I am finally going to walk the plank, I mean walk down the isle! Hard to believe its less that 3 months away. I am having the harpist performing at the ceremony play YMBF as our song when we are married & walking back up the isle. I wanted it as our announcement song at the reception but its not rocking enough. Know what I mean? I am leaning heavily towards IWBTLY from the MIH album. It's direct & to the point. Theresa & I like the song alot. It's not very well know unlike YMBF but it rocks for the most part. I thought of the idea of using WWRY but I don't want my wedding reception to sound like a NFL game. Although how cool would it be playing just the "drum" track w/out vocals & having my best friend strap on my Burns BM guitar & playing the solo live through an AC30 cranked? Not likely going to happen, but I can dream. So hows IWBTLY sound?

I Was Born to Love You sounds like a great choice to me. I do have one suggestion, though. After the ceremony, while walking back up the aisle, they should play the title line from Another One Bites the Dust. I've seen that done at weddings and those in the know love it. ;-)

Congrats man i'm getting married in 2 months aswell...Were having the "Wedding march" from Flash gordon played as were walking into the reception room to have our meal... think that will get people into the party mood and crack a few smiles ( and some funny looks prob) And "your my best friend" as our first dance song...I cant wait it'll be a celebration of queen proportions xxx aishasweetness xxx
