uTorrent and BitComet seem to work. I recommend uTorrent because it still works when the tracker is down for a while.

I have no idea why your programme says tracks are "mpeg". Mpegs are video files. Here is a spectral view from Cool Edit Pro.
If the file were mp3 sourced there would not be any colour above 16000 because mp3 encoding cuts off everything above a frequency of 16000. I am pretty sure the concert is not mp3 sourced.

Frequency analysis with Cool Edit Pro
there is no sudden drop after 16000 Hz

I checked it with EAC, and it looks good on my end... although it does drop off at about 21 khz... so perhaps it was tampered with in some other way. The term "lossy" isn't exclusively for mp3 conversion. A recording can be lossy in ways other than mp3.

Well MPEG is actually an organisation (Moving Pictures Experts Group), which is responsible for the mpeg formats, both video and audio. MP3 is actually MPEG1 audio layer 3, like MP2 is MPEG 1, audio layer 2

Ok, thanks - I used to know that:)
Anyway, I always check files with CEP and ask a second opinion before posting them here, so I am fairly convinced that this show is not mp3 sourced:)

Is this the recording which has circulated on the hub for ages or a new one?
