[QUOTENAME]Miami Vice wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Hello Dusta, Queen performed Under Pressure and Crazy Little Thing Called Love in the 1982 episode of SNL you are talking about, which was hosted by Danny Devito. And i think people like Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo were part of the cast at the time, but i could be mistaken.
Correct, except for the host, it was Chevy Chase. Well, kinda, he was really in LA. Devito did introduce Queen.

It is all random
And, I feel compelled to add that, truly, I feel very fortunate to have seen Queen on SNL...and, though Freddie appeared to be having a rough go with his voice, they still rocked the house. When you watch many of the bands who appear today on SNL, or, even back then, they seem to be lacking that honest musicianship that Queen had.
It is all random
I agree. I guess some current bands feel that they're just playing for the audience that's there, not the audience across world. When you see the boys do CLTCL, you can see Fred all over the place rocking out. No one does that now. They kinda just stand there. There are a few exceptions, but most of the time they're just there because they have to be.

No, it isn't just you. It cracks me up, but it's kinda cute at the same time. LOL
