You're right Cookies. Let's examine that list in detail. C'mon you rock & rollers, let me here from you.

01. Led Zeppelin -Stairway to heaven
As it should be. In the late 70s, when the radio would play this, that was a signal to all that the DJs were firing one up. If that's not Rock & Roll, I don't know what is.

02. Rolling Stones- (I can’t get no) Satisfaction
Other than making everyone buy a Fuzz pedal, I'm not sure why this is so great. Much better Stones songs to choose from as well.

03. Queen -Bohemian rhapsody

04. Deep Purple -Smoke on the Water
A little high, for a classic riff and that's about all.

05. Steppenwolf- Born to be wild

06. Black Sabbath- Paranoid
The song that every garage band puts in they're first set list ever? I don't think so. Plus, Ozzy solo had much more impact... Crazy Train?

07. Jimi Hendrix- Purple Haze

08. The Beatles - Yesterday

09. The Doors - Light my fire

10. Pink Floyd - Another brick in the wall Parte 2

11. AC/DC - Back in Black

12. Janis Joplin - Ball and Chain
Wait a minute, #12? Maybe 112.

13. Rush - Tom Sawyer
Ok, it's a radio list. Makes sense.

14. Iron Maiden - The number of the beast
But this certainly doesn't. And I don't remember it charting too terribly high. The album sold well, but airplay was nonexistant.

15. Ten Years After - I’m going home

16. John Lennon - Imagine

17. Kiss - Rock and roll all nite
Kiss making this list may seem like a joke, but I guess if you have to pick one, this is it.

18. Aerosmith - Dream on

19. Joe Cocker - With a little help from my friends.
Beatles version is much better. How 'bout Feelin' Alright or Leave Your Hat On?

20. Bob Dylan - Blowin’ in the wind

21. Los Jaivas- Todos juntos
Oh yes, you bet. Who? Note to Chile: Good Rock & Roll will never come from Chile.

22. Eric Clapton - Cocaine
Re-worked Sunshine? That should go here.

23. Pink Floyd - Money

24. The Beatles - come together

25. Yes - Roundabout

Hey, if you have knowledge about music, please make a little research... Gabriel Parra (RIP) former drum player of this band, was named "one of the best drum player that ever played in England" during a tour in the 70's - 80's...

And of course, LISTEN TO THE SONG first, and then give your opinion.

In fact it was Music Week who said in the 70's that Gabriel Parra (drums) was one of the greatest drummers ever played in England until that period (1979) Sadly he's no longer with us!
Please will you direct me in the right way?

Funny, I stumbled over this thread accidently, but somehow it led me to listen to Los Jaivas. Interesting music, seems to be a great band. I liked "Mira Niñita" very much! No idea what it's about, though. But "Todos juntos"? Nothing special, strange vocals ... no.
... I'll be back again before it's time for sunny-down ...
