Yes, Jeroen - we both did not win but in the end we went, so maybe some day we get an email from this website begging us to buy the tickets that did not get allocated in the ballot ;)

TIN CAN DRUMS!![/QUOTE]
Actually, that sound we all heard on the FM & HBO broadcast ws poorly mixed. I was listening to that performance live as it happened. God, what a great night that was! I had a band rehersal earlier that night, then my guitarist & I sat in his basement waiting til well after midnight for them to come on stage. It was such a monumental event. they wanted to redeem themselves after the Live Aid showing 3 years earlier. But later Jimmy said that the broadcast didn't trasmit the bass, keyboards or drums properly in the mix. Listen to Kashmir, theres hardly any keyboards audible in the broadcast. I'm sure inside MSG that night they sounded like thunder! The Power, Mystery & the Hammer of the Gods in all its glory!
I really hope they pull it together & are in top form. I know Jason & Jonesy will be. I just hope Jimmy &Robert are as well. Here's to hopeing we get a 2 hour set which includes The Lemon Song, The Rain Song & Ten Years Gone! Do you think Robert will get off his high horse & sing Stairway? It's no secret he doesn't enjoy it a little bit.

That's interesting... I had a feeling it must've been the TV people who screwed that one up!!
I can't comment on whether or not Page will be any good, but Plant should be great. He's done some great shows lately; definitely redeeming what he did at the Freddie Tribute, anyway..... :P

I hope your right. I have seen Plant about 12 times over the years. Most recetntly in 2005 w/ the Strange Sensation. He was good, but struggled w/ some of the Zep material.

It was just his revenge against Freddie's awful live performance of The Immigrant Song during the Magic tour. ;P
