Yes, I agree that the stage set was over the top and absolutely spectacular, and it's indeed a huge piece of eye candy.
But to hear a whole bunch of shitty songs from Pop, and witness Bono act like a clown more than as a frontman, and watch him hump cameras on stage, I consider it a very pathetic show.
I'd much rather see them come out with the DVD for the show at Red Rocks in 1983. Now that's the U2 that made them great.
