Oh yes.
My mum was a crazed beanie baby collecter. We still have a shitload of them.
My first beanie baby ever was Doby. I still have him. He's my favorite.
He fell in the toilet the first day I got him. Long story, lol.

I actually have between 250-300 Beanie Babies, obtained through friends, Hallmarks and souvenier shops, etc., etc. over the past 8 or 9 years, I suppose. I wasn't a collector, though, I just liked to play with them and sleep with them. (Oh, yeah! ;P) My first one was a cat called Pounce, but I think I called him "Fischkatze" ("Fish-cat"), I honestly forget why... Must've been something at the moment. But about a year later I got a second Pounce, and we (My brothers and I) decided he was better looking and therefore named him "Neue Fischkatze" (NEW Fish cat. xD), and it later turned into "New Pounce".
As I got older, my brothers and I would think it was funny to do perverted stuff like make them have sex with each other, Neue Fischkatze turned into a mack daddy and now I just keep them in big bins under my window-seat. I still take them out every now and then to give them "air"... I think I photographed them once and showed a few people here, I think they're on Photobucket. I still buy them every now and then, but not half as much as I used to... :D

Yeah I absoulutely adored them got about 300 lol. Everyone said they would keep up in value and have they shifted by a penny, no!
