Nice video, she has beautiful voice. Thanx for sharing ;)
Yeah thanks. I had never seen that. It was a nice version.
Wasn't she Shakespeare's wife?
Yea rumors had it she was named after William Shakespeare's wife, but not true. ;>
nice and pretty girl...
not bad....but not spectacular either :-/ pretty voice, but not enough passion, IMO, its almost as generic as possible.
It sounds like what you would expect to happen if you hand a teeny-bopper a tape of Somebody to Love and tell them to sing an abbreviated version. Decent voice (post-synthing, I suspect), but no real passion behind the lyrics.
I heard that the only way they got her to sing (instead of being dubbed) way by saying she got to sing Queen.
Or that could just be my mother's story. She also thought Freddie wrote "Who Wants to Live Forever" when he was "dying of AIDS".

But you're still alive though right?

I've seen this before on TV, too, I think. Yes, she is very good. I don't like the bit of the song where she has to sing "somebody to...lo-o-o-o-ove" a capella. I think it sounds too robotic then or something. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

I was told that it isnt her singing..it was some other girl..but i hav no idea. It does sound pretty good..it was actually that song in that movie that got me to go buy my first Queen cd.
reportedly shes a trained soprano, and was offered the part of 'christine daae' in phantom of the opera, but due to schedule issues, she couldnt do it.
just something i heard...
but...who would know in this recording? im sorry, but IMO shes mediocre. not bad, not great. no strong vibrato, or projection. shes a soubrette or lyric soprano at best.

Anne Hooters.
