In all honesty, Ringo doesn't deserve it. He just hasn't left anything remarkable to consider an induction.

Madonna represents everything that's wrong with music since the beginning of the MTV era.
Sure, music has always used image in order to sell (just look what it did for Elvis), but once MTV and Madonna came along, it jumped to another higher level of mediocrity. No longer was talent needed in order to succeed. The only thing needed was a good producer, a good manager, and an image appealing enough to create media hype.

I'll agree by saying that Madonna is indeed a genius, even though the woman doesn't know jack shit about music. She knows perfectly well how to manage her own image in order to always remain in the spotlight.

He did a damn sight more than some of the actual inductees.... not that I condone the induction of anyone who shouldn't really be in there.
