They say, that almost 20 million peapole was trying to buy a ticket for the Zeppelin gig. If that´s not a reminder to Plant and his boys just how BIG they were/are, i don´t know what.

Not sure if Pearl Jam are on tour but The Smashing Pumpkins are. They are playing Columbia later this year.[/QUOTE]

Pearl Jam is most definately still touring:

Yeh, I wanna see Iron Maiden, their coming to Perth, but the tickets are way to much for me. At least their coming to Perth, unlike Queen+PR who will go anywhere but Perth =(

Out of the '20 million' that applied for tickets for Led Zep probably 19 million were planning to resell on Ebay.

As for the Ulster Hall rumour...

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
"Queen is the only band in the world that can play so heavily that your nose bleeds, then offer a silk handkerchief to clean up with."

Why the surprise?
They've been back together and touring since 1999!

It has only been for this year that Ozzy did another solo album and tour - and the rest of Sabbath (minus Bill Ward) grabbed the oppertunity to do the Heaven and Hell thing.
Roger AAAAAHHHH!
I simply do not believe Robert Plant completely if he actually has stated anything to indicate that he definitely won't play with Zeppelin beyond the November show. For one reason, he swore even that show wouldn't happen. For another, he has absolutely no logical reason not to do a full tour unless he really, really just isn't interested in doing it. He'd make his fans ecstatic, he'd shatter any and all tour grossing records that the Rolling Stones might have, and he's completely maintatin respect towards John Bohnam by keeping the name going only because a Bohnam wields the drumkit.

I think Brian and Roger had no efforts towards even fantasizing about Queen ever returning, and then the Paul thing just sort of happened and worked great. Well this is a lot closer to the real deal with Zeppelin, and he'd even be privelaged not to put up with the garbage that Queen has from purists who expect some sort of sacred policy being observed with the band name.

And so you know, John Paul Jones has stated how bummed he was back when Page/Plant was touring around without him.
Yeroen, no I´m not suprised. However..

Fact 1. Tony Iommi has not been trying to hide his frustration over the fact that Ozzy can´t preform any shows longer than 1.20-1.30h.

Fact 2. Both Heaven and hell and Ozzy spent this year touring with an amazing somewhat 200 shows altogether. Are they up for another year of touring?

Fact 3. Ozzy sounds like s*it. I still can´t figure out why he didn´t quit while he was still a good singer.

No disrespect to anyone, I love Ozzy, I got him tattooed on my leg. I love Both Dio and the HAH project, awsome stuff. But I just can´t see that The "old Sabbath" on tour next year.
