Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed Ren and Stimpy as a little kid. What freaked me out when I was a child? Watching a clock while it struck Midnight. I don't know why. It still slightly freaks me out today.
Ahhh. The Saturday morning cartoons on nick. Those were the days. Ren and Stimpy were the best part untill Rocko came along.

"The tri-tone is the Devil's interval, and he demands resolution." - Richard Lloyd
Then they changed the theme music. Worst idea evvvvvvver. It was equal to when Alan Alda started directing M*A*S*H.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!
Ren&Stimpy used to freak me out! I stuck with Rocko, AAAAAAAHHH! Real Monsters and Angry Beavers. None of this wishy washy "I'm gonna kill you with this here monster I have on a peice of card, then shoot you with my lazer vision" business thats on now.

But forget cartoons, they should bring back Power Rangers!
"Either this kid has a lightbulb up his ass or his colon has a great idea"
Cow & Chicken with me, I guess.

I remember the parents only had legs (wtf?) and there was that strange devil all the time.

Also, the choice of words wasn't always appropriate for children.
John: "It's the one thing I wish I could do - sing."
^ I forgot about that one!

What was that one with the two dogs, and there was that guy who was like "Isn't that cute...but it's WRONG!"
"Either this kid has a lightbulb up his ass or his colon has a great idea"
That would be the immortal classic 'Two Stupid Dogs.' And what a show it was.

I remain a pretty die-hard 'Ren & Stimpy' fan. I was also a rabid watcher of 'Space Ghost: Coast to Coast,' which has invariably led to me being a huge Adult Swim fan nowadays. 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' forever!

Yeahhhh! So fucking sick! And that with "Isn't that cute...but it's WRONG!" is from Two Stupid Dogs, sick! xDDDDDDDDDD
I'm sick of all my kicks.

OMG i loved Angry Beavers, that was hilarious, they should show it again.
I remember Hey Arnold aswell!

Does anyone else remember / like "Are you afraid of the dark" ? I loved that. They started re-showing all of them again a few months ago, but they've stopped again =/ lol
I remember Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers and Rocko's Modern Life as well. Those were my favorite cartoons for a long while... It's a shame they don't show them (often) anymore. :(
Ren & Stimpy was so great! And I also enjoyed Eek! The Cat a lot. Except for the Thunder Lizards bit. That was boring.

I also remember Are you afraid of the dark, it was shown here in the early 90s. But it was a great show.

I also loved The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin and Captain N: The Game Master in the late 80's, early 90's
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
I think I was a Dexter's Laboratory fan....
