At about 1min 40s in let me out (the song by brian and friends on the star fleet project EP) there is a guitar solo that sounds like that out of a queen song, I cant quite put my finger on it (i may be going nuts), it may be out of one of the flash gordon songs, I dont know. Anyone shed any light on this??? Thanks in advance :)
buggered if i know.sounds like a live queen piano intro.a freddie special so to speak
strange as this sounds but i was "ripping" the song to my computer when i came across this thread.so i had a listen..it sounds a bit like a slowed down version of the guitar solo in "the hero" to me but no doubt someone will come along and say otherwise lol

its like the solo from "Its a Hard life"
:)
anyone has a sample from that part??
"If there's a God or any kind of justice under the sky If there's a point, if there's a reason to live or die".
It's similar to The Hero for about two bars, then it goes off somewhere else.

Let Me Out starts at 1:42, the Hero after the orchestral padding in the middle
Without listening to it now, I do recall before that I've heard a phrasing similarity to the It's A Hard Life solo in a bit of the Let Me Out solo, so could be the one you mean

techically, without being pedantic, wouldnt it be that "its a hard life" used the riff from "let me out" as "let me out" was recorded/released first?
