i know there are other topics about this somewhere else but they are old and i want this question answered ASAP. so if i copy the fan upmixes on to a cd and play it in my dvd player, it shoul;d play . but the question i want answering is when it's inserted, will the little display on my a/v amp shange from pro logic II to dts automatically or will it be running in pro logic two?

All I can tell you is my AV amp recognises the DTS signal automatically.

IT DOESN'T WORK!! i have a dvd player which outputs both dolby and dts and a amp which decodes dolby and dts. but when i inserted the disc in, it just made a static noise. why does this happen?
