The Untold Story new version on DVD?

It states here that The Untold Story has been updated by the director to incude new extra footage (mainly of Freddie playing and singing rather than the historice re-enactments), and that this new version will come out on DVD in February 2008.

Does anyone have any more info on this? Is it going to be in addition to the current one, is it going to replace the current cut once stocks sell out etc...?

That'll be two directors cuts of that out then (I have one speical directors cut that was given to me on VHS by the Fan Club in lieu of an invitation to the launch party being recinded)

Hang on a mo...it's in the FM boxset. It was released with the Freddie 60th anniversary set, too. And now it's going to be released in February, again? This new footage better be good!

I don't know if it was the version that will be released (if what you report is correct), but I saw a new edit of the Untold Story a short while back. It indeed featured some more live material and also some pieces from Magic Years.
Nothing we have never seen before, though.
