Why Queen fans brought "blue-red-white" flags as Queen performed live? What were those flags?

I've seen the flag on "Live at Wembley stadium DVD"

I think that color of Queen fans goes in this order red, white, blue...Yeah I saw that too on Wembley but I think that fans brought just colors of flags from their country, you know when It's recorded, people can see from where did someone come from. Or something like that :P
