Annoying emails-"Hi babe, wassup?"

I know I'm not the only one who gets these things.... The spam emails That start with "Hi babe, wassup? Sorry for cutting short our convo on msn... blah blah blah" and this picture of an ass with a g-string on... and the girl launches into this terrible run-on paragraph full of bad grammar and all the typical horny girly stuff about "I luv gettin my nipples lickd n my bum pinched my nek kissd lol" and "the pic mite not show up im kinda new at this :(" (When they know damn well the picture will show up...).
I really, really, HATE those emails. xD It seems as though they take the names of people on your contacts and make the sender's name something similar to that, if it makes sense.... For example, the best I can think of would be that Carol's on my contacts (Sorry, Carol xD), so I get emails from "Carole Mabel" and "Clarice Marion" (Like "Pomponias Marrion", I suppose.. xD). I've also gotten them from a Kaylee, an Eva, an Ella, a Monica, and much more. All the names are similar to those of people on my contacts. :o

Alright, pointless rambling.. My questions are: Anyone else get these fucking annoying things? How in the hell do you block them? Where do they come from? And lastly, how do they know the names of people in your contacts?!

I get those bloody "congratulations, you have won $4 million in the Nigerian National Lottery! send us your bank details and we will send you the money". You'd have to be a right plonker to fall for that, honestly!

You just can't escape from these sorts of things. Even when I was a kid and hardly anyone had a computer, let alone internet, there was the dreaded 'Chain Letter', wishing 7 years bad luck on anyone who broke the chain.

I hardly get any "porn" message, except for some offers to increase my size. Most messages I get say I won the UK lottery (I win the UK lottery nearly everyday! xD), offering me loans, offering me cash for the most absurd reasons, etc.

I usually just block them (on Hotmail) with the junk button. I still get alot of them, though.
