I have both versions, and I rate them about the same. For North American residents I would say grab the NTSC version. It has a menu and chapters, but no music on the menus. Mine, has decompressed AC3 audio, menus with music, chapters, is in PAL, and the audio was doubled in Goldwave.
Grab both if your player can play both, it won't hurt.
Was it deleted from tapecity? I had no idea. Lucky I grabbed it while it was available. It's an excellent DVD.

As far as lossless audio goes just remember a chain is only as strong as the weakest link.
For example: If somebody says that they cannot hear a difference between an mp3 and wav chances are they are using:
1.Cheap Headphones
2.Cheap Boombox
3.Lesser expensive speakers or stereo.
4.TV Speakers
5.Bad Ears
My point is if what you are using to listen with is no better than the mp3, ac3, whatever you have got then by upgrading to a lossless format is not going to necessarily sound that much better since your equipment will not reproduce the better sound anyway whether it be TV speakers, a boombox, cheap wires, $20 Headphones, your ears or whatever.
On the other hand I can tell you that if you do have some decent equipment and have as I said no weak links in your chain you will surely notice a difference between any lossless sound and it's compressed twin by simply A/Bing them.
While I believe that the difference is subjective for many reasons I can always tell a compressed source almost immediately.
I just wanted to write my thoughts on this for those that are not audio enthusiasts so that they might get more enjoyment out of their music.

I CAN tell the difference between MPEG
audio and AC3 or PCM audio on my Panasonic LCD TV. It has decent audio. One of these years I may hook it up to my stereo stereo, and that should sound better...LOL
The original Queen DVD that was upped here had low volume AC3 audio. The DVD that was upped at Tapecity sounds much, much better. I expect the upcoming DVD with lossless audio to sound better still, but I don't expect too much of a difference. I hope I am wrong, but I am curious to see if the difference is noticeable on my TV.
I have a Zappa boot with lossless audio that just sounds amazing. Not all DVDs with lossless audio sound that good.
