I love you for your mind baby give me your body.
I think the quality's so good that it is almost untypable....
The sound is unreal! At last, the definitive version.

i went to the cinema to see it in the uk and believe me its fantastic. much better than the original. i was a bit disapointed they broudht that gig out but they changed my mind.
Yeah i think that the sound is way better than all previous releases.

Though only played the clips on a laptop I think it's way better.

I never really enjoyed this show, though I know it was one of the better 9if not excellent) Queen performances. I never could enjoy because of the sound which was quite anoying me. Hope I will play this release with pride and joy.

Thansk for your input.

Any sound expert here? Which can share his oppinion ?
hi kya
I always 'hated' the sound on WWRY and now I'm glad it sounds the way it should sound! I fully understand brian's agitation concerning the pioneer 2001 DVD release.
on my way up
when is the gig released in uk?
studyan
Have to eat some humble pie here --- the quality is excellent and I will be getting it. I never bothered to buy this on DVD so all I have is a really old vhs. The difference between the two is obviously immense.

You know what's coming next though? "Queen Rocks Budapest"...
"Queen is the only band in the world that can play so heavily that your nose bleeds, then offer a silk handkerchief to clean up with."
I have to admit, the quality is awesome.

And I bet Brian wants to hear that he made the right choice for a DVD-release and that he was right all the time.

I won't be saying that, though.

Based on the clips on the website, the sound is amazing! A massive improvement. I think someone said that Brian's guitar was too prominent in the new mix, but to me it just sounds right. I thought the guitar was too loud in the old mix.

I know the size of the video probably does not do it justice, but the picture does not look all that different.

I still can't justify or convince myself to buy the DVD again just to basically get Brian and Roger commentary or the special edition just to get a better quality version of the Live Aid rehersal.

These clips, however, have pursuaded me to definately buy the CD release.

On one hand I'm pissed that once more Queen is releasing a live show that is not prior to live killers.

On the other hand, a cd, a potentially better sound, and a live-aid included bonus makes the new Montreal release fairly exciting. I think it could be a better sound quality, but no live quality before the 21st Century is likely to be anything noticeably better than the current version of that show.
The sound really ISN'T improved. The sound is crisper on the last DVD issue - if you like drums sounding muddy and stupid amounts of reverb and delay on the vocals then the new version is great.
