Seeing as how my last complete share was the MSG show on 11-16-78, it only seems natural that I continue with the next show Queen played.

I don't know where to begin with this recording. There are many problems that could be fixed. For starters the taper decided it was a good idea to pause the tape between every song, leaving screeches and bits of silence between each track. So much so, that the guy I got this from thought it was burnt track-at-once.

On sound quality its nearly excellent, a bit distant, but I've thoroughly enjoyed it. According to the greatest site for information on queen live, (aptly entitled www.queenlive.ca) there are two sources for this show, a more complete but lesser quality tape, and this one, better quality but shorter.

Well, it's not too distant, the sound quality overall is very good.
And on a side note, I recently got a copy of Yes live at the Long Beach Arena 6-23-75, taped by Mike Millard, anyone familiar with his tapes knows the quality of his recordings are astounding, if only he had taped a Queen show.

There are none that we know of. There are plenty of shows he recorded that nobody knows about. All I can say is this: He recorded pretty much every major artist that came to the LA area from 74-80. So, 12-22-77, 12-20-78... stuff like that might be rotting in his mother's house.

The 6-23-75 Yes recording is unreal!

you can't go wrong with the millard, his tape shows of zepp and the stones are legend, a shame that he never taped a queen show
