Was he really a rubbish singer? Don't know because never heard him sing. Wouldn't you think out of the 20 odd years we would have heard at least one line. Maybe there is

From everything I've heard, he simply didn't have a very good range and sounded more like he was 'talking' the notes than anything. I've heard bits of him where he was more on key than this.

it's john's voice, spike doesent have that voice and by that time he did not tour with Queen

Just a logical conclusion. They probably listened to the audio of Earls Court, and told John never to sing again! He isn't heard on any later recording.

He did the chorus of "Radio GaGa" during Live Aid and he sang it quite well.
