No, sorry to imply that. In that part of my post I was actually referring to the anger others have with Rowling's earnings. You didn't express that. You're view, as you stated here, makes sense. After all, it's fiction. It's a fun read. Nothing more or less.

I'm actually glad that JKR finally got the guts to do something controversial. I was BRUTALLY disappointed with the last book from the standpoint of the ending. I mean, come on!! She wusses out of killing him and decides to go with the sugary, sappy "And they all lived Happily Ever After" scenario....pfft. This is a cop out for a writer as brilliant as she is. She didn't have the guts to kill Harry off.
But at least she had the guts to be able to make Dumbledore gay. I suspected he was from about the end of book 5, but it was never confirmed.
