Absolutely. I'll share it if you remove this lossy (96 kbps?) recording.

Would someone perhaps be so kind to upload this show in FLAC?
Thank you very much for this. I already have it, but i don't mind if it's in mp3 or flac. It's the sharing spirit that counts. And if you want to share in mp3, that´s great for me. I don't mind. Cheers
Preserve the quality, thanks for your intention, but keep the good music dude, flac or shn

The same topic as 10.000 times before, but why offering mp3 if FLAC is available ??!!!
Think about it, the same file shared on mp3 multiple times and the music is altered (in fact it is already altered on the first time it is put on mp3 format as it is a lossy format !!!).
Share several times the same Flac file and the music is still perfect !!!
Using mp3 when FLAC is available is in my opinion :
- selfish as doing that we don't care about the music and we don't let the choice to people who download to hear quality (FLAC) or altered music (even slightly to your ears, just believe this, mp3 do alter music also on a long-term basis !).
- non-respecting the one person behind this who put all its heart and care and precision to compile files of good quality and to offer to everyone. How could anyone continue to share files if we continue to behave like that ? It's just as if i gave you a CD or a DVD and you just let the disc outside its box, on the table, or on the floor. It won't be long since it's out of order... Believe me, you wouldn't have anymore CDs or DVDs from me !!
This is not a personal attack (I'm forecasting the reaction from the uploader ;o) ), it's just that we have to be more conscious of what we do with what we get, and that we have contribute to preserve the quality of the recordings, because nobody else would do this for us. If Queen Productions had recorded all the gigs in extra quality, and had carefully preserved, then they are able to offer "Live At The Bowl" or "Queen Rock Montreal" or "Live In Budapest" later, and I hope more live and even better ones...
So please, stop sharing mp3 unless there is no other format available and you don't have the original files... Everybody would be grateful to you.
Oh yes, the Leiden gig, yes it was a great concert !!! ;o)

Gisted trasnaltion:
"Sir GH, if you do not like this, do not download it. "Keep your Leiden concert" (something about Sir GH being ungrateful, and how he has never seen someone so ungrateful, then followed by long live Queen and the Cross."
This is my translation, so there may be a discrepancy or a "lost in translation" bit. But cleary we can all see ignorance knows no language barrier.
And to ruth.oliver, excellent post, well worth reading :)

How about this... if he removes this mp3 version, then I'll share a better-sounding version in FLAC. Simple as that.
It has nothing to do with me being ungrateful. I simply am among the growing number of people who want the best version of each show to spread - not inferior/lossy copies. It's just mind-baffling that so many people can't understand this simple concept.

Hey man, just delete your files, I would be more than ready for Flac version of this show.....
Please please me (oh yeah !)

Are we talking about Edinburgh 1976 here, I've lost the thread. Judging by what Sir Gh has shared in the past I'll go with him.
As someone who has previously collected all the available shows in any format, the more recent lossless and lesser generation shows are indeed a step up. I'm no science buff but the difference is audibly clear.

A real gentleman you are, Jose!
Perhaps we should skip all this discussion about Flac or Mp3 preferences or languages and go straight to the core of the issue uploading again this show (In FLAC, maybe? ;)

Quite OK with you, but Bob is waiting for this mp3 show to be deleted before !
But I'm sure the uploader of these mp3 files will be clever enough to recognize that FLAC files (and Flac files from Bob !!!) are in better condition than him, and that with these files, he is going to upgrade his own version, and he will understand that he could make it mp3 again after that for him !!!
This way, he will upgrade his mp3 version... Is it not funny ? Thanks a lot bob for permitting us to upgrade our mp3 versions wih your FLAC files... ;o) Of course we promise you we won't share our new mp3s but we keep our Flac aside to share these files instead !!!
I don't understand, this is quite easy to do it seems.... Well we have to make the effort of learning what is Flac and how it works, but as we can compress a track in mp3 just by pressing two or three buttons, that's the same with Flac !!! there are some topics talking about that !! Nothing more simple !!
Please, Bob, wait a little while our fellow Queenzoner delete his files and understand our point of view or explain his own...
Regards,
Olivier,
France.

96kbps mp3 ? Oops.
I don't understand people who like mp3s with less than 256kbps bitrate.
And Bob, if you have the time, please upload the lossless version
