had a really bad storm here overnight,got woken up at 5am by the sound of next doors wall collapsing in the gale force 70mph SW gusts and the weather veil thingy falling off the top of the clocktower and smashing on the ground,nice waves for the surfers though but no doubt someone will get caught in the currents and swept out to sea and will need the RNLI to come and rescue them

Yeah... there really are some strong winds. I just heard something smash upstairs, I should probably shut my window.

This morning wasn't like this though. Argh. Stupid weather. Doesn't effect me much anyways. I'm all warm inside my house. :]

How ironic....we had a storm here last night as well. Started around 6:30, but luckily we (my friends and I) were back from Detroit and Ford Field when it hit. Got another 3 inches of snow on top of the three we already had from Friday, plus then it started sleeting. So add another inch of ice and some wind and it made for some great times!! Good thing we were back in town and just finishing up dinner when the snow started...gave me time to get back to my office, grab stuff to work on at home today and get home. So now I can stay in my nice warm apartment (in my PJ's no less!) and work on a paper I've got due tomorrow.

And in a completely unrelated note...we are MAC Champions again!!! Back to back titles baby!!! First time a team has held the championship back to back since 2000. Motor City Bowl (and potentially MSU Spartans if they accept the invite)....here come the Chippewas!

I saw an x-mas light thingy that said "Bah Humbug" in B&Q the other night...

There's another forum I frequent, and last year they won £50,000 for a very lavish party. Due to exams I couldn't go, but they're planning another one for 2008 and somehow, I've managed to become one the organisers, by starting poll asking where everybody wants the party to be.

As with all forums, arguments very quickly escalate, this time it's because a lot of people are voting for London, and the Northerners want it more central, like Sheffield. So everyone's saying everyone's selfish blah blah and now I've got to calm it down.

Argh.
