On another note...PSC 780 sucks. Last night the whole lecture (for THREE HOURS) was on statistical regression and correlation tests. Damn prof even lectured in Korean for a little while when he saw the blank looks on all of our faces...and I understood it just as clearly when he lectured in Korean and when he was speaking in English. I HATE classes where I walk out feeling like a total moron[/QUOTE]

As long as you remember to bake the cake completely you should be fine....there really isn't anything in cake that would make anyone sick except for the eggs.
I'd be more worried about how much alcohol you are going to pump into this thing...remember it has to be consumable by the people there. But don't worry, I'll monitor the amount you are putting into the cake for the party when I'm there to keep things at a normal level :-P
