This topic definitely doesn't belong in this section. But, to stay on topic, they're alright. I listen to them every once and a while. People do dwell on the topic of Cobain's death though. It was waaay long ago, and it's not like it's going to make any difference anyway what everyone thinks happened.
I am a fan of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. I am sure that a lot of people here are. It appears that he was influenced by Queen a lot as well, so your post definitely belongs here.
shite
I like them okay. They aren't one of my FAVORITE bands, but I DO like them. Especially Dave Grohl.

They sound okay. I prefer Foo Fighters, though.

It wasn't murder, it was suicide. Maybe due to all the pressure some people *cough*Courtney*cough* put on him, but he shot the gun.

overrated
We love you Mandy!
Don't even get me started on them..... (A) :D :D :D
I really liked their first album 'Bleach'.
'Nevermind' of course was the album that changed the entire direction of mainstream music in the 90s, and a great one.

I didn't dig 'In Utero', although I admit that it has some of Nirvana's most brilliant songs, but some of their most mediocre as well.
