I chose mine because the song reminds me of my life with my ex-husband, how our relationship started out so well, we got married, we had kids; then he got so involved with his business "flourished in my humble trade, My reputation grew, The work devoured my waking hours..."; it was just like that and we grew apart and eventually split.
I relate to many of Brian's songs, especially the painful ones about broken relationships.
