Okay so Prince sends a cease and desist order to websites about him (see www.prince.org ). That poses a good question about whether we as fans have a right to start a forum or website worshipping our favorite artists (like this one here lol). I think Prince has lost it. I dont think he's ahead of the curve, if anything this hawkins back to Nazi Germany.

let's start a site called Not Prince. It can plainly be about him, but since all caricatures and parodies of his image and music will have 'NOT PRINCE' emblazoned on them, he won't be able to do jack shit!

I think that if all we had to put up with from Nazi Germany had been Adolf Hitler insisting we remove internet sites dedicated to him, things would've been quite a lot peachier for the world.
So I don't see the parallel between him and Prince. But that's just me; God forbid I should invoke Godwin's Law, here...
