xD sorry, pressed the enter button too fast.
i meant to say, how was freddie's real name spelled?
i always see different ways to spell it and was wondering
what the correct way it.
The first one?
Shamu. His real name was Shamu.
Back whenever
and his middle name was pluto >.>

Freddie was born in Zanzibar as Farrokh Bulsara on 5th September 1946 to Bomi and Jer Bulsara.
He had no middle name (either as Farrokh or Freddie) let alone Pluto - Lady Nyx - which was always an urban myth.

Here is a link to Farrokh Bulsara's birth certificate:

Here is another link to a picture of very young and sober Farrokh taken in 1965 after a lunchtime session at the pub with his Isleworth Polytechnic student friends. Oh how things would change! (Click on picture to enlarge - and to enlarge again):

How many mistakes can a birth certificate have? Whoever filled Freddie's birth certificate must have been very very drunk :)

More to the point, it seems that it says "Faurokh" or "Farrrokh" in that document. But I believe, Farrokh is the most common way to spell it with latin alphabets.
August R:"...it seems that it says "Faurokh" or "Farrrokh" in that document."

"Farrokh's birth certificate" is very clearly printed at the BOTTOM of the image - and is easily readable.

There is also a way to magnify both the handwritten and printed sections - but I do not know why it does not link to that version.
However, a google image search should be able to turn up a larger copy.

The time period of that pic above reminded me of this one;

I can't remember where I saved it from now but if memory serves me right it was found on some old silent film from his college days. Anyone know if this is correct and who the film came from/ended up belonging to?

But to be technical, that obviously isn't part of the actual birth certificate. That was added later.
