According to Wikipedia the song is released as a single in 1999. ;)
"If there's a God or any kind of justice under the sky If there's a point, if there's a reason to live or die".
What about these ones:

Lemon Tree - Fool's Garden
Love fool - Cardigans
Hand in my Pocket - Alanis Morissette
Ironic - Alanis Morissette
Creep - Radiohead

Good kiwi music, nice to hear!

Now remembering I was a child of the 90's, this is what I was listening to:

Stop - Spice Girls
C'est la Vie - B*Witched
U.G.L.Y - Daphnie and Celiste
5ive - Got The Feelin
Mariah Carey - Hero
We're Going To Ibiza - Vengaboys
Doctor Jones - Aqua
Pretty Fly For A White Guy - Offspring
Men In Black - Will Smith
Livin la Vida Loca - Ricky Martin
Man! I Feel Like A Woman - Shania Twain
That macarena song...?

But songs that I think are classic 90's ones are these:

Tubthumping - Chumbawamba
Don't Speak - No Doubt
Hand In My Pocket - Alanis Morrissette
Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
Wonderwall - Oasis
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
U Can't Touch This - MC Hammer
Black Or White - Michael Jackson
I Believe I Can Fly - R Kelly
See What Love Can Do - Annie Crummer
Today - The Smashing Pumpkins
Fire Water Burn - Bloodhound Gang
The lemon tree song someone's already mentioned
Peaches - Presidents of the United States of America
...and that's all I can think of at the moment
"Either this kid has a lightbulb up his ass or his colon has a great idea"
