Ah yes, finally!

It seems like most people so far agree on the performance on this track.
The beginning really didnt convince me, it goes just too slow...bit boring.
However, i liked Brian`s voiced was involved in the song. It could been better though.
However, when the guitars!! and Paul section began.....I loved it!

I`m really beginning to be excited about the fortcoming album now.

The song ONLY starts to really take off at 2:15 ...

Anything before that (especially the terrible keyboard arrangements during the 1st verse) is way below average!

The song itself is not very inspiring as the chord arrangements are overall dull (and too predictive)

I would have expected a more interesting song arrangement from Queen + PR , it's definately a try, but unfortunately below average!

Have they lost the meaning of the song? When RT sang it live there was a feeling what the songs was about, now it's been heavily produced but to me it's lost the original feeling.

Interesting! There was hardly any Paul. Not that I don't like him, but I ain't complaining! ;-) I agree with the comments about the effects on the vocals. I just don't care for the sound of that, but it's not toooo overpowering. I do love the over the top drums and guitar. :-) Don't think this is representative of what will be on the album, necessarily, but it's got me excited!

pity pity pit,,ruined as great song, bri and rogs vocals are quite shallow and creaky not as good as they could have been and dont get me started about paul rodgers but great guitar and drums but it will take alot more plays to convince me but hey lifes full of surprises, shit have to go my conservatory is burning down

I really like this arrangement, because it also shows the anger. When I look at the lyrics I feel the original acoustic version really didn't do justice to the anger that was in the song.

In my opinion that's a really angry and hopeless cry of someone who just heard he has aids

Brian and Roger sort of ruin the song IMO. Thier vocals were weak. They should have just had Paul handle the whole song. It would have been 10 times better.

I dont know...maybe it'll grow on me...like most Queen songs have in the past.

Totally agree with you friedchicken and i think this arrangement is WAY better than the acoustic version it's got more depth, power, and emotion which usually sounds like a queen song.

Brian vocals are ok but just ok but roger and esp paul's vocals are top notch, and not that i need reminding paul rodgers has a fabulous voice.

Can't wait fot the album and tour now i wonder would they play that version on tour next time?

well .. sound quality is not so good, I have to say. not a loseless matter, they did it on purpose .. anyway, I think the live version is better, just voice, acoustic guitars and a keyboard .. this one has too much stuff in it, too many sounds for a song which, I suppose, was meant to be an acoustic track.

David, now that is exactly what I was thinking: this version is bound to rock live.

Gr8 KR, a agree with you. Like I said before, PR should do all the singing. He's much better at it and I feel I want to hear a band direction. It seems Bri and Rog cant let go of the past and need to reinforce that it's a Queen record by singing on it. Bri said we shouldn't compare this new stuff to Queen as it's a new band...so let the singer sing Brian mate!

I quite like the arrangement. I think it shows the fact, that it is a charity song. Say It's Not True is a nice song, but not very exiting maybe. I hope they have created some songs with "prog" elements, with unpredictable chord-, tempo- and bar changes.

But anyway, I do like the way they have approached it, and they have got the most out of it. The sound of the latter part with the guitar, drums and Paul's voice is very promising. If they have managed to write some good material, in addition to an exiting sound, it will be promising.

the song is ruined from the moment brian starts to sing. Paul rogers may be an excellent singer but he is just out of place on this track as is brian may's guitar playing. The live version is much better with only acoustic guitars and roger singing

Wow... I wasn't expecting that guitar work by Brian... I'm impressed! :) This might not have Freddie's vocals, neither John's bass, but it surely does sound like Queen. More than some Queen songs recorded with Freddie still alive.

I like so much the part when Brian sings... also the guitar parts are wonderful!!!
Paul has done a great strong job on the vocals and the touch of Roger on the drums is so unique!
Anybody knows who plays the bass???
