the "is it me?" thread

just a thread to let off steam and air little gripes in the world out in the interwebness of bewilderment:

is it me? why is it impossible to open a packet containing scissors without actually using a pair of scissors to open them? surely it nullifies the point of buying the pack in the first place?

is it me? why must all OAP'S get on the very first bus after their free bus passes come into affect?

is it me? why do people assume that because im tall that the sky is different from my view and ask me "whats the sky like up there?" after 38 years i still cant find the humour in that..

is it me? why do buses always arrive late when you are standing at the bus stop in a downpour and drenched through?

is it me? why is Anne Boleyn in the tv show The Tudors obsessed with the Berkshire town of Maidenhead? every week she says to Henry viii "you will have to wait for my Maidenhead"

last week it was the cat shitting in Judi Dench's boot and this week its the ball being rolled under the bed.
