OK, What Are Your Predictions for the EURO 2008??

i predict that no one in the UK will give a toss about it,the pubs and clubs will be empty causing an economic crisis and forcing many businesses to go into liquidation.
however this will also mean that i wont have to wait 20 minutes to get served in any of my drinking holes while the games are on tv and that the landlords/landladys of said establishments "might" actually treat their locals with a bit more respect and not say to their staff "let the locals wait as they wont mind" like they did during the last world cup..

oh ps Italy to win with a dodgy decision in their favour in the last minute of injury time.
Spain are like England,all hype and no substance and wont get out of the group stages,Croatia to get to the semis losing to Italy with a dodgy decision in the last minute of injury time,poland to cause an upset or two and France will just winge about everything like they always do and sneak into the last 4 and then throw it away.

out of curiousity i wonder how much of my licence fee the BBC will throw at this now?

As to who wins - first the teams have to reach the next round which is certainly not easy in group C (the death group).

My prediction:
Group A: Czech Republic and Switzerland
Group B: Croatia and Germany (sorry, Fenderek)
Group C: Italy and Holland
Group D: Russia and Sweden

Italy won't make it through the final 8, because a player will tell the referee how he wants to have his sister.

After marriage, of course.

Don't be so damn positive about Holland. We're toast.

I won't support Holland during EURO 2008. Russia (Lucky Guus) and Poland (Don Leo) for me.

My predictions are:
